Amethyst Falls Wisteria

Compact and shrubby, this twining wisteria grows much slower than other wisterias for a better behavior in small spaces. Slightly fragrant, vivid lavender-purple flowers are produced in 6-8" racemes on new growth, appearing from April to May. Begins flowering when the plant is one year old. Trim after spring flowering to promote flowering in later summer. Great for trellises and arbors.
